patio makeover

I recently posted about a little patio makeover that was going down at the Cunningham Casa and I’m pumped because it’s finally done! At least for now. I swear I am never done decorating haha. Now more than ever, I’m so grateful to have a space where I can sit outside and relax. So, I’m sharing all the details on the patio makeover and you don’t want to miss a thing!

P.s. the sale for my loveseat ends TONIGHT so you want to snag it soon! Everything is 50% off!

Thank you to Brylane Home for sponsoring this post.

***keep in mind, it rained RIGHT before I took these pictures. so that’s why the seat cushion looks blotchy. ***

Now more than ever, I’m so glad I spruced up this space. Being able to sit on the patio and get fresh air and feel like I’m not in a bubble has been so helpful. Plus, putting it all together has helped pass the time.

So, let’s start with the loveseat. The star of this patio makeover. First of all, it’s on sale through tonight for HALF OFF! I’m OBSESSED with this loveseat and all the details. I was a little nervous I wouldn’t love it since it‘s brown, but you can see how easy it is to add some color to the space. I love the clean lines of it and the woven material. Plus, it fits J and I comfortably.

The little decor details are really what brings it all together. So, I added a neutral outdoor rug, also from Brylane Home, that has a palm print.

Both of my outdoor pillows are under $20 and even though they’re different styles, they pair really well together. I love the texture of the white tassel pillow, but added the geometric pillow for a pop of color on the loveseat.

And what would a patio makeover be without some pretty flowers and planters? I already had these white planters, but we grabbed the blue plastic ones from Lowe’s last weekend. They are super cheap, but look expensive and add some color to the space. I hung this white planter and it looks a little bare up there, so I’m probably going to add another one soon.

For the flowers, I picked what coordinated with the space and did two types of flowers and then Dusty Miller to add some filler. Fun fact: Dusty Miller is my FAVORITE! It was all over my wedding too.

We already had the lights up, but I’ll link them here! They give a retro vibe and we love having the light when we’re out there at night. They aren’t bright at all, but just give a dim light to the space, which is perfect. Also, I have my eye on this outdoor side table that is under $50, but I’m holding off right now. But it will come home with me soon!

I hope y’all love the space as much as we do! And really, now is the perfect time to spruce up a space like your balcony or patio to give you a space to just escape.

And if you’re on a home decor spree, check out this post.

Cheers,

Caitlin
