thanksgiving looks

look one

I’m giving all the thanks for these Thanksgiving looks. When it comes to turkey day, I like to look cute, but it’s seriously important to be comfy. Both of these dresses are gorgeous, without giving away your food baby.

I love the fun multi-print patterns in the first dress. How gorgeous are those colors?! This prime eligible dress is from my favorite boutique brand. I can always count on Umgee to have high quality and unique pieces, and this Thanksgiving dress is no different. For sizing, I got my regular size, XL, and it fits perfectly.

Being able to choose from all the different colors in the dress for accessories makes it so easy. I went with classic gold accessories, but if you really want go for it, add in some lilac or maroon earrings or bracelets. I would suggest keeping your shoes neutral unless they’re your pop of color.

Thanksgiving is the perfect day to wear all the flowy things, and this dress is no exception. No Spanx are necessary with this dress, holla, so you don’t have to worry about being able to breathe. If you know that feeling, you know the struggle.

look two

This Free People dress is on major sale and I’m obsessed. I snagged it the other day and it’s so perfect for fall. The rich colors, flowy fit, and gorgeous back detail made me swoon. It’s a perfect casual Thanksgiving day look.

I paired it with knee-high boots, but it would look so cute with flats, booties, or over-the-knee boots. When it’s cooler, it will look precious layered with a chunky scarf and jacket. I added a bralette to this dress to show off the open back and add another layer. It still works with a normal bra though! This gorgeous dresses runs true to size.

I saw a meme that was making fun of how people dress up to just walk to the kitchen on Thanksgiving and I seriously died. It’s SO true. But, these Thanksgiving looks are the perfect way to look effortless on Turkey Day. They don’t need tons of accessories and stand on their own. If you want to take it up a notch, you can totally go for it. Or you can just throw this on, head downstairs, and get your Thanksgiving on.
