life update with the Digit app

Okay, it’s been almost SIX MONTHS since I’ve hit publish on a blog post. I’ve missed it though, so I’m back and have a life update for y’all! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen that we started fertility treatment this year. If you don’t follow me there, SURPRISE! We started fertility treatment! It’s a rollercoaster of emotions and I can’t lie, it’s a big hit to our finances. That’s why we use the Digit app.

This post is sponsored by @hellodigit and the Digit app, but all thoughts are my own.

It’s wild because Jackson and I have been using the Digit app since 2019. Back then, I was saving up for material things, like purses and shoes. Which it was amazing for! But now, we’re saving for more rounds of fertility treatments and rainy day funds. Talk about adulting.

Going through fertility treatments is stressful enough. It’s been lots of highs and lows that we weren’t completely prepared for, but having a healthy savings account has definitely brought peace of mind. Now if you ask J, it hasn’t been easy letting big chunks of money leave the account, but we’ve got the end goal in mind. Most of the time haha. I just remind him that as we’re spending, Digit is helping us save, so it’s full circle.

I absolutely love how the Digit app has grown with us. Whether you’ve got big ticket items on your mind or maybe a credit card you want to pay off, Digit makes it so easy. Their algorithm is completely personalized and the app works behind the scenes to save for you. It knows your balances and only saves what you can afford, so there’s no guesswork. Even though J works in finance and I actually do love to save, SHOCKER I know. However, saving and figuring out finances is never easy for us and I know we can’t be alone. So basically, Digit is responsible for my savings and my marriage at this point haha.

  1. This is really interesting I’m going to have to look into them! For us it’s such a sore subject also. So this might help fix that! Thank you!!!
Isn’t it weird when you realize you’ve grown up ? Like asking for an air fryer or instant pot for a present?! That’s the moment you shock yourself lol
