pre fall Old Navy haul

I asked y’all a couple questions the other day on stories and got SO many good responses. Old Navy was definitely the winner for what store you wanted a try on from, so here it is. And it’s seriously good. I found lots of good pieces for fall transition. So, here it is! My pre fall Old Navy haul. Everything is included from why I liked it, what size I’m wearing, and all the good details.

pre fall Old Navy haul

black sweater tank // light wash denim

Both of these pieces came home with me, so you know they’re good. Sweater tanks are super trendy for fall and this is one you can wear now and later. It’s lightweight and a neutral way to try out the trend. These jeans give Good American or Madewell a run for their money. They aren’t the typical, super stretchy Old Navy jeans. They’re more rigid, perfectly high waisted, feel more expensive, and I love the button up detail. Look for the Power Slim Straight style if you like a more rigid fit. Wearing XXL in tank for oversized fit. Wearing 18 in jeans.

speckle heathered tee

I love fun basics like this to take you through every season. Out of everything I tried on, it’s the most affordable piece of my pre fall Old Navy haul, but it can be styled the most ways too. It’s a cream color with colorful, heathered speckles throughout. It’s hard to tell, but I’m showing an up close look on my stories. Wearing XXL in tee.

eyelet button up blouse // light wash denim

I LOVE this eyelet blouse. It feels and looks super expensive, but it’s only $30. It’s perfect to wear now with just a bralette (how I’m wearing it). I’m sharing it layered like a jacket below too. It’s just a classic piece to have and it’s ultra versatile. You could even throw a tank on underneath for a work look. Wearing XL in top. Wearing 18 in jeans.

embroidered square neck blouse // dark wash denim

This embroidered top gives me maaaajor Madewell vibes. I don’t love how I styled it, but I think a swap of the shoes would fix it. It’s flowy and I love the black + white contrast. Plus, the sleeves have a subtle pom pom trim. These dark wash jeans are the Rockstar fit, so they’re that classic, stretchy jean you’re probably used to with Old Navy. They didn’t fit me as well as the light wash, but I think it just depends on your body type. I do like the distressing and the color. Wearing XL in top. Wearing 18 in jeans.

leopard swing dress // boxy denim jacket

Okay, I’m not usually one for 90’s trends, but this look was my favorite from the whole try on. This strap dress is a classic Old Navy piece that they have in a ton of prints. Of course, I chose the leopard. It has a smocked back so it stretches with you, but it’s fitted up top to give you shape. It’s an easy dress that you can layer and style a bunch of different ways. If I recommend ONE piece from Old Navy, it’s a denim jacket. Mine is from there and I wear it constantly in the fall and winter. This one is a little different because of that boxy, oversized fit and raw hem, but I love it. Wearing XXL in dress for length. Wearing XL in denim jacket.

unexpected favorite

printed halter top

I don’t usually even try on halter tops because I think they make my shoulders look even bigger, but this one was calling my name. The color is like a dusty, deep rose and I love anything with a print. This is the unexpected favorite from this whole pre fall Old Navy haul. I love the fit and it’s just a good piece to have that you can wear casual or dress up with a cardigan or blazer. Wearing XL.

belted jumpsuit // denim jacket // eyelet blouse

Let me start by saying, I’m not doing this jumpsuit justice. I’m wearing a XXL, but it was way too big. Basically, just imagine it cropped and not so huge. However, I love this fall color and think it looks adorable all three ways. It’s super soft and lightweight, so it can be casual or a little more dressy. I’m wearing the same boxy denim jacket as above. Also, I just unbuttoned the eyelet blouse and tied it to give it a little texture. Wearing XXL (get your regular size).

button Henley tank

Okay, looooove this tank for a super casual look. It buttons down completely and it’s just fall transition perfection. I sized up for a more oversized look, but honestly I think a XL would look better on me. It’s super soft and casual “running errands and still looking cute” goodness. Wearing XXL.
