Y’ALL. I am like a moth to flame when it comes to Target. I know I can’t be alone. And even though life is looking very different, the big T never disappoints. These pieces are so good and I think you’re going to love this May Target haul. I’m breaking down each outfit, sharing my sizing, and what I love about each item.
May Target haul
This gingham peplum tank is what kicked off this whole Target haul and it didn’t disappoint. It has a smocked back panel so it’s forgiving and comfortable. The peplum is so flattering and the straps are adjustable. Wearing a XXL, fits true to size.
I thought these jeans were the perfect spring and summer color! I’ve never tried Universal Thread jeans before, but these surprised me. They fit really well and I like the slightly distressed detail. The only thing is they’re a little long, but I just cuffed them. You could cut them since the hem is already raw! I’m wearing my regular size, 18.
I love this top and bottom together as a set. The only thing, it obviously doesn’t fit, but that is my fault. I tried to squeeze into a 16, when I’m definitely an 18. So there’s that. However, I love these pieces! They’re an eyelet material, so perfect for summer and the color is like a coral/clay. It also comes in white! The shorts are the perfect paper bag shorts with great length. The top has a cami underneath so it’s not see through. I’m wearing an XL in the top and it’s a little snug. So I would say both pieces run true to size.
I snagged this tie dye sweatshirt because it looked so comfy and I thought it would be the perfect starter piece if you want to get into the tie dye trend. It’s not too wild so you’re not going full psychedelic, but it’s still trendy. It’s a little cropped, so keep that in mind. It runs true to size too. I’m wearing an XXL, so size up if you want it oversized.

This tiered tank dress is the ultimate summertime dress. It’s flowy, lightweight, and you can style it so many ways. I’m wearing it here with a bralette from Chic Soul. It comes in multiple colors too! I’m wearing an XL, but would recommend getting your true size for length.
My absolute favorite piece from my May Target haul. The dress, it’s dreamy. The color is amazing, I added an unfiltered photo so you can see the true color. And can we talk about the details? So dreamy. I love the puff sleeves and the tie top. It’s so girly and summery. If you aren’t comfortable with the cleavage, add a tank underneath and it will look just as cute! There’s also a smocked detail in the back so it stretches with you. Runs true to size, I’m wearing an XXL.
Another perfect, girly dress for summertime. I love that this dress has the smocked top. It’s comfortable and super trendy without having the whole dress smocked and being form fitting. The ties are functional so you can adjust as needed. You can totally dress this one up with wedges and a statement earring or wear it casual with sandals for a post pool day outfit. It comes in three other colors too! Runs true to size, I’m wearing an xxl.
