march H&M try on

How is it already March??! I feel like we were just all complaining that it was the 235th day of January. Be careful what you wish for because we’re already THREE months into the year. Okay, enough of the month thing. Let’s talk about this March H&M try on. It’s SO GOOD. That’s all I can say. I’ve been soooo into H&M lately, and this proves exactly why.

I’ve been hitting the jackpot lately with H&M. They are size inclusive, have amazing prices, and they just get me. And when I say amazing prices, I mean I bought a graphic tee, pleated skirt, and puff sleeve top for under $75. And I haven’t had any complaints about quality so far either. Anyways, you can check out a my latest post with H&M pieces HERE.

march H&M try on

Okay, here’s what you really came for. Below is everything I tried on. I’m sharing what size I’m wearing, what I loved, or didn’t love, and the price. There are only 2 things I couldn’t find the exact link for online, so I’m sharing some similar ones. I’m sharing videos of the try on over on my Instagram stories too.

denim tiered dress // wearing L // $34.99

This dress instantly reminded me of the Free People denim dress I have, but like $60 cheaper. It’s a true denim so it’s not lightweight or sheer at all. I love the tie details at the neck and wrists. It fits oversized, as I’m wearing a large, and the length was perfect (I’m 5’8” for reference). If you want it a little longer or more oversized, get your true size. It’s also a little longer in the back, which I loved.

leopard puff sleeve blouse // wearing l // $19.99

I just had to try this leopard blouse on and it didn’t disappoint. This is SO good for work and play. You could totally style it with everything from a pencil skirt to a leather skirt, jeans, shorts, literally anything. It’s just a fun take on a basic. I’m wearing a large and it fit, but I would be more comfortable in a xl. It doesn’t stretch so keep that in mind.

dolman sleeve sweater // wearing xl // $19.99

pleated skirt // wearing xl // $34.99

I love both of these pieces for spring transition. I was instantly drawn to the dolman fit of this lightweight sweater and it’s one of my favorites from the whole march H&M try on. It’s not sheer, so you don’t have to layer underneath and it’s the perfect universal neutral that will look good on every skin tone.

The pleated skirt came home with me and I’m so excited to style it for y’all. It is seriously the perfect gray/green color that isn’t too springy and can really be worn year round. It has the prettiest shine finish to it and elastic waistband. I wore my true size, xl.

floral babydoll dress // wearing xl // $29.99

I wanted to love this dress so bad. It gives me major Free People vibes and it’s only $30. However, it wasn’t working for ya girl. I definitely needed a size up, but that isn’t an option. It has a true babydoll fit, but it hit right across my chest, not cute. The connection from arm to the body of the dress was really weird too. Again, loved it, but since xl is the biggest size it comes it, it isn’t a yes for me.

tiered midi dress // wearing L // $34.99

This dress might not be for everyone, but I personally love it. It’s lightweight, structured, and you can wear it so many ways. I would add a fun belt to cinch in the waist and add some color. It’s just a super versatile piece you can wear so many ways. I’m wearing a large, so it runs big.

polka dot top // wearing xl // $9.99

I would never forgive myself if I left the store without this top. So the cream version (which isn’t online) came home with me. I’m OBSESSED. Besides the fact that it’s under $10, it fits like a glove, is polka dotted, and has the sweetest details. The sleeves have elastic at the shoulder, so they won’t fall and the sweetheart neckline is so flattering. I originally sized up to an xxl, but took home the xl. The xxl was just too big and wouldn’t stay on my shoulders, so get your true size.

jeggings // wearing 31/33 // $19.99

You saw this lightweight sweater already, but I wanted to share a good inexpensive, stretchy jean. I went into this try on with sweatpants on (rookie mistake) so I picked these up in hopes they would fit for the try on. They were definitely snug, but a 33 was the biggest size I could find. They have way more sizes online. I actually really like them though! They are high waisted and super comfy. Wearing a 33, but a 34 would fit better, so get your true size.

Rolling Stones graphic tee // wearing xxl // $17.99

I bought this tee. Why? Because I’m weak. HAHA. I definitely don’t need another graphic tee, but I love that I could wear this one around the house and dress it up too. It definitely has a boxy fit, so get your true size unless you want it to be really oversized. I got the xxl, but could of done my true size. This exact tee isn’t online, so I’m linking similar options.

flowy white button up // wearing xl // $14.99

Even though it’s definitely sheer, I love this flowy white blouse. If you aren’t wearing it to the office, a pretty bralette underneath would be so cute. If you are wearing it to the office, you’ll need a blazer or a tank underneath. I love the drop shoulder detail and it’s just a good basic to have. I’m wearing an xl, so it runs true to size.

baby blue blazer // wearing xl // $34.99

Speaking of blazer, I LOVE this blazer and it was for sure a standout piece from this whole March H&M try on. It’s really well tailored and I love that it’s longer. Besides being great for work, it would be so good with a dress and sneakers. It’s fully lined and runs true to size.

puff sleeve sweatshirt // wearing xl // $17.99

Okay, so this sweatshirt isn’t online, so I linked similar ones above. However, I’ve seen this sweatshirt a couple times and finally tried it on. SO. GOOD. I love it. It’s fun, yet really easy and effortless. And of course, super comfy. It’s something you can wear year round.

Told y’all it was a good one! I just forgot to mention it was a long post too! I hope you found something you love in this March H&M try on and TAG ME if you post yourself in one of these pieces or anything else you wear that I shared with you. It makes my heart happy!

Cheers,

Caitlin
