gift guide//give back

We all love to give and receive during the holiday season. It’s kinda what it’s all about, but you can take it a step further with gifts that give back. I’m rounding up gifts that are perfect for everyone on your list and make a positive impact.

p.s. click the + signs on each item to shop them.

give back gifts

Toms// One of the first big brands to really take giving back to a whole new level. When you buy a pair of Toms, they donate a pair of shoes. They’ve branched out from the typical slip on’s and have some really cute options. Also, they have sunglasses and with each purchase, they give a pair of eye glasses.

S’well// I didn’t even know S’well was a give back brand until I did some digging. Aside from the obvious impact a reusable bottle makes, S’well is doing so much. Besides being the fastest growing, woman ran company (GIRL POWER), they work with UNICEF to provide clean drinking water to underprivileged countries. AND, they work with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Lonely Whale, an organization making strides in ocean pollution.

Diff Eyewear// One of my favorite sunglasses brands also happens to be doing a lot of good in the world. How perfect. They have donated over 1 million reading glasses worldwide and with every pair purchased, they donate a pair. For half the price of designer sunnies, but even better quality, this makes me only love Diff more.

Lush// Besides being the bath BOMB, I couldn’t resist, this company does some serious give back work. When you purchase a Charity Pot of body lotion, they give 100% of the proceeds to a variety of animal protection, human rights, and environmental justice organizations. Just another reason to love Lush.

Rescue Towels// Perfect for the animal lover, these kitchen towels are adorable and made in Brooklyn, NY. Plus, a portion of proceeds go to Rescue City, an animal rescue, rehab, and adoption organization in New York City. #adoptdontshop

Parker Clay Tote// I shared this brand on my stories, but here’s the quick version of how Parker Clay is doing so much good. All the items are made in Ethiopia, 80% of their employees are women who have escaped prostitution and sex slavery, and almost 50% of them had never had sustainable income before working for Parker Clay. Not only are you getting gorgeous, handmade leather goods, you’re helping someone thrive and not just survive. Use my code: KEEPINGITCAITLIN20 for 20% off.

Kendra Scott Charms// Honestly, anytime you buy Kendra, you’re giving back. The KS brand takes giving back very seriously and it’s part of their core values. However, to know exactly where your money is going, you can purchase charms. There is a whole collection of charms that go to different causes including M.D. Anderson, Ronald McDonald House, and Women for Women International.

ONEHOPE// If you don’t know this brand, you need to. The wine is amazing, the causes they give back to are amazing, and they have glitter bottles. Enough said. When you click on a product, it tells you exactly where your donation is going. This company, started by friends, has donated over $5 million in 11 years along with other impressive stats you can read here.

I hope this guide helps you give good and do good. There’s so many amazing companies with great products that give back, which makes it easy to do your part this holiday season.

Cheers,

Caitlin
