sweater skirt// five ways

So basically, when I found this sweater skirt last week at Target, I had to snag it. Then I started thinking about all the good ways I want to style it throughout fall and winter. And that light bulb moment turned into this post. So, here it is. Also, random, but I don’t know why every Target piece I link looks blurry. I promise it’s not censored or anything inappropriate. (:

classic

I had to start off with a super classic way to style this sweater skirt. It’s really basic once you strip away the accessories, but that also gives you a ton of ways to style and layer it. Head to my stories to see how I tie my shirt because it’s too hard to explain in words. (: It’s not actually complicated, I just am too visual to type it all up.

leopard

But seriously, it might not be your first thought to wear a tan leopard sweater with a gray sweater skirt, but I think the accessories really pull it together. My pearl headband is so chic and an inexpensive way to add some fun to any outfit.

cozy

The ultimate cozy outfit for this fall and winter. It’s basically the closest thing to wearing a cozy blanket out in public. If you missed me ranting and raving about this sweater the other day on Instagram, let me sum it up. This sweater is the coziest thing I own. It’s my go-to for basically every outfit throughout fall and winter. I shared a couple ways I wore it last year here AND it’s HALF OFF currently. So yeah.

trendy

This is definitely the trendiest take on styling the sweater skirt, but it just might be my favorite. Y’all loved seeing me add some fun socks to one of my NYFW outfits, so I couldn’t resist on this one. It’s kinda hard to see, but these shimmery, dark purple socks are so fun with this outfit. My shirt is currently sold out (annoying), but I’m linking similar ones above.

office

You might remember this sweater skirt outfit from my Target haul last week. It’s actually where I first found this amazing piece and thought of all the good ways I could style it. Obviously, no shoes aren’t really work appropriate, so I’m linking some really cute options that are perfect for the office. p.s. the chunky heels are in stock in a bunch of colors and are on major sale.

cheers,

caitlin
