yellow midi dress

Remember that time I couldn’t decide what to wear, bought like 10 dresses, asked for your opinion, and didn’t wear it anyways? Yeah, sounds about right. Now y’all can all relate to J because that’s usually how it goes around our house. But, I am still obsessed with this yellow midi dress because it’s so fun, under $35, and perfect for any spring/summer occasion on your calendar.

the details

It was so hard to show the vibrant yellow color of this dress through the phone! So I’m sharing edited and untouched photos so you get the full idea.

I love that you can dress this yellow midi up or down, because y’all know I love to get the most bang for all my bucks. Obvi, I dressed it up with heels for a wedding guest look. Later on, I’m going to dress it down with flats for work, and sandals for the weekend.

The ruching gives you that bangin’ hourglass shape and it has a snap closure up top to keep everything together. I actually have it unbuttoned in the photos because it was a little too modest for the occassion, in my opinion. The snap closure will come in handy for your office outfit though. I’m wearing an XL for size reference.

And if you aren’t sold on the whole “midi” length, think again. Give this dress a try because I think it will change your mind. Y’all know my love for dresses runs deep, but the midi length makes it so practical. Whether you’re chasing littles around all day, or covering up your unshaven legs this dress has you covered. Literally. Also, there’s actually no shame in the unshaven legs game because upkeep is hard y’all.

And how fun is the color? This yellow midi dress just wouldn’t be as stunning if it wasn’t this color. I am not usually one to wear yellow, but this shade is the perfect middle between a neon yellow and pale yellow. It’s just enough to be fun, yet classy. Also, there are tiny, white polka dots on the dress, sooooo yeah. It’s a winner.

And can we talk about the gorgeous spots I took these photos in? You might be able to guess where I am, but head to this post for the answer. *hint: it’s your new favorite place.

cheers,

caitlin
