valentine’s day accessories

I definitely love holidays, but I don’t like shopping “specifically” for them. To me, buying a Valentine’s Day specific outfit that I can’t wear year round isn’t practical. But you know what’s practical? Pops of Valentine’s Day accessories in outfits that don’t break the bank. I’d much rather spend a little on a scarf or earrings and add it into outfits. Feel the same? Yass girl. So, I’m sharing my favorite Valentine’s Day accessories for February 14th and every other day of the year.

It’s so much better for your wallet and your outfit to toss in a little something that is festive without going overboard. That’s why I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day accessories. Plus, I love wearing hearts anyways, so it kinda works out for me.

If hearts aren’t your thing, that’s okay too. Add a pop with these red sandals or super sweet lipstick. It’s all in the details, never forget that. I even love these flats because they are so chic and a good, modern take on the heart trend.

Also, any of these gifts would be amazing Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day gifts. Foolproof gift idea? You can never go wrong with some Baublebar. If they aren’t into jewelry, first question why you’re friends. Just kidding. (: But, these under $50 sunnies would be a great alternative.

p.s. I shared a full on, crazy pants Valentine’s Day outfit on Friday. If you haven’t checked it out, do yourself a fav. It’s a good one, if I don’t say so myself. I feel like Valentine’s Day is becoming my favorite holiday behind Christmas because I am into it this year.

Stay tuned throughout the week because gift guides are coming your way!

cheers,

caitlin
