my everyday essentials

It’s January, we’re all starting fresh, so I had to go back to the basics. I’ve been trying out a couple new products lately that y’all are going to love too. So, I’m sharing my tried and true, must have, everyday essentials with y’all. I can’t live without these babies and I’m sharing all the details why.

macaron brush. Nothing is worse than walking into a windy day with perfect hair and ending up with tangles galore. Enter, milk + sass ‘macaron for hair’ brush. It’s so cute, compact, and a must have for perfect hair days. It’s designed for all types of hair, including wet hair, so no more “I forgot my hairbrush at home” moments on vacation! Or is that just me?! The other end of the macaroon is a mirror so you can see your pretty little face while you brush out your mane or fix your lipstick.

tatcha gold spun lip balm. It’s the balm. Literally. I tried out this lip balm because I was getting tired of Carmex and holy YES. I’m obsessed. It smells heavenly, moisturizes so well, and adds a touch of shimmer.

naked’ lipstick. This shade of lipstick should be in every purse in the world. It is the ultimate nude color that looks gorgeous on every skin tone. If I’m ever trying to look pulled together in a pinch, I reach for this baby. It’s long lasting and the perfect creamy texture that doesn’t dry out.

moisturizer. I know it’s not the most exciting, but moisturizer is my number one product that I can’t live without. Even J has an extra in his nightstand in case we ever run out. It’s that serious. I’ve been using this Olay daily moisturizer since pre-teen days and it is amazing. If my face is ever in some serious need of moisture, I reach for this fresh product. It’s the best when you skin is seriously dry.

sugar twists. Every no-knot, no-crease ponytail holder on the market is in my drawer, but I haven’t found one that I love. And y’all know a ponytail is crucial to my everyday essentials. They all end up stretching out or barely holding my pony up. Until I discovered the milk + sass ‘sugar twists’. The milk + sass magicians nailed it with the design of these babies because there’s no breakage, no stretch, and a perky ponytail to boot.

diff sunnies. I’ve shared them a million times, but these are a for sure everyday essential for me. I don’t know if it’s due to the baby blues I’m sporting or what, but you will never catch me outside without sunnies because I literally can’t see anything. Diff sunnies are durable (I’ve had mine for almost 2 years). They’re also super stylish and give back to a great cause.

And just because you can’t go running around town with all your everyday essentials in your hands, here’s a handful of my current favorite purses under $100.

Don’t forget to check out tonight’s pick six too! It’s full of sale pieces.

cheers,

caitlin
