new years eve look

I feel like I’m cheating on Christmas by just moving on to New Year’s Eve, but I have to live in the present right? And the present means NYE is right around the corner! My plans are always low-key (shocking, I know), but I put together the most perfect, practical, and of course, sparkly New Year’s Eve look for y’all.

I shared a couple Prime pretties that are perfect for New Year’s Eve, but I just couldn’t help but share this next outfit. Keep scrolling to see why.

the jumpsuit

There’s only a handful of days in the year when it’s socially acceptable to wear a sequin bomber jacket, if you play by the rules. Honestly, I’m so obsessed with this jacket, I would wear it year round, but it’s a must for my New Years Eve look. I love the black and white bands that give it an extra pop too.

First of all, it’s under $40. Second, it’s Prime eligible. Third, it comes in 13 different colors. I could just end my post right here, because what else could you ask for? But there’s even more goodness to this outfit y’all.

My gorgeous red, halter jumpsuit has POCKETS. *adds to cart*. It is so flattering on it’s own, but seriously shines against my sequin jacket. I sized up to a 2x in it, but if you aren’t on the curvy side, it runs true to size. The halter top is thick enough that it’s supportive and I wore a lace bralette underneath for an added layer.

The wide leg gives you a totally 70’s chic vibe that I’m seriously obsessed with and if you’re shorter, your legs are going to look miles long.

For the accessories, you can hardly see them, but I wore my matte black Kendra earrings that totally go with the retro vibes. I’m also wearing my Valentino dupe heels and a Kate Spade crossbody. I’m linking my whole outfit below for you to shop. P.S. the back is open, but comes up high enough for a good pair of Spanx to hold all the goods together.

Everything I’m sharing is in stock and should get to you by New Year’s Eve.

I know, I just overwhelmed you with sparkles and info, but it’s a good kind of overwhelmed right?! I hope I helped you weed through all the feathers, sequins, and glitter to find the perfect inspiration for your NYE outfit.

cheers,

caitlin
