Merry Christmas Eve y’all! My heart is so happy to be at home and enjoying Christmas with my family and j. It’s seriously the best time of year. Yesterday, I shared my favorite Christmas cookie recipe with y’all, and today I just had to share my favorite plaid pretty under $50 with y’all.
I know, I’ve been bad and said I would share it with y’all like a dozen times already, but the truth is I’ve been too busy wearing it! It’s so comfy, soft, and the perfect easy dress to throw on and go.
I wore it to a “western” wedding a couple weeks ago (see below) and styled it with cowboy boots and big earrings. Then just the other day I wore it to work with tights and boots, and now I’m wearing it with over the knee boots. So clearly, the possibilities are endless with this one. Which makes it even more worth it.
I am wearing a 16, so it runs pretty true to size. If you’re wanting to cinch in your waist a little more, you can size down one. I know this specific dress only comes in plus size, so I’m sharing other really similar ones in regular sizes too.
I cant get over how it’s such a girly take on the usual plaid flannel pattern. It still feels like a lightweight flannel though, which I love. It is perfect to wear on its own or under a coat if it’s really cold outside. For the Texas winter, it’s perfect on its own.
Also, I shared these over-the-knee boots a couple times on Instagram, but I’m loving them. They’re a ‘scuba-like’ material so they conform to your legs and have definitely stretched a little to fit my legs. They’re a little pricey, but worth it. I also try to share every time they go on sale with y’all so be on the lookout!
