holiday home decor

Decorating for the holidays is one of my very favorite things to do, ever. It’s also a big deal for J. There is just something seriously magical about all the lights and sparkles and decorations around the house. It’s taken me a couple years to figure out my true “style” when it comes to holiday home decor, and it’s honestly still a work in progress. I’ve found so many good pieces this season though so I had to share some of my favorite holiday home decor pieces with y’all.

Also, how pretty are these snowy mason jars my mom handmade. Here’s the link to make them yourself! Such a perfect holiday weekend activity.

stockings & stocking holders

Right now, we have these stockings with these simple stocking holders and I really do like them, but I am wanting a more whimsical look. I’ve had my eyes on these stockings and will probably snag them for next year when they go on sale. Pattern mixing is my jam for personal style and home decor so I would mix in these stockings too.

outdoor decor

Since we are renting our current house, we don’t go all out with the outdoor decor. However, we love getting festive with a good wreath and front door mat. I shared our wreath on my Instagram stories a couple weeks ago, but we got a plain wreath on sale, bought a velvet bow to wrap on it, and bam. We created our holiday wreath. Adding a fun wreath hanger is another easy way to add some extra holiday spirit to your front porch. Here’s our adorable front door mat too.

tree essentials

Our Christmas tree is my favorite part of all our holiday home decor. I think it’s so pretty and a little unique, but it’s still personal to us. It all started when we received Christmas ornaments the Christmas we were engaged. They were all either neutral or metallic and the collection took off from there. We have a couple fun ornaments and some classics in there too, but everything is metallic and it just makes it pop even more. This tree is super similar to ours.

indoor decor

This is probably J’s favorite part. He loves to boss me around and make sure things are in the right spot. I love layering greenery, photos, and other little trinkets to add a personal touch to our holiday home decor. This fun cookie jar is such an easy way to add a touch of Christmas spirit to your kitchen too.

cheers,

caitlin
