dress up for the holidays

Holiday parties with friends, Christmas dinner with family, and my personal fav, office parties. All perfect times for a good ole’ holiday dress up. I’m sharing three easy, fool-proof, and gorgeous ways to get dressed up for the holidays.

the trendy look

I shared this outfit last night on Instagram and y’all loved it, which makes me so happy. I am not usually one to pick out an off-the-shoulder dress,  but I love the navy velvet and decided to give it a try. Thank goodness I did. The cinched waist and a-line fit of this dress is flattering on anyone, but make me feel especially confident. This outfit is the perfect way to get dressed up for the holidays if you’re needing outfits for a night out, holiday trip, or party.

The accessories with this velvet dream are so fun too. I love these Baublebar earrings that are way lighter than they look. The silver baubles go perfectly with this holiday look, but add sparkle to a simple denim and tee look. Plus, my metallic booties are on major sale.

the classic look

How could we dress up for the holidays without this timeless look? This black, faux-wrap dress has a frilly hem that gives it a fun twist on your typical Little Black Dress. I love that it distracts from the potential Christmas dinner food baby and keeps your shape looking amazing. The material is stretchy and forgiving so you can dance at the office party and get down in the kitchen.

These Valentino dupes were a pleasant surprise. For under $50, I wasn’t expecting much,  but they are super comfortable, look like the real deal, and are sturdy. You’ll be seeing more of these babies because I’m obsessed. For jewelry, keep it simple and let your bold red lip be the statement. I wore my pearl studs to keep it simple and chic.

the girly, boho look

This outfit is perfect for all you low maintenance gals. This dress is so stinking easy to just throw on, add an accessory, and go. If you’re okay with going bra-less or doing sticky boobs, then you need this dress. The back is so flattering and the color is perfect for any skin tone. The bow is long enough to be tied on the front if you like the drama up front when you dress up for the holidays.

Can we talk about these under $20 earrings that are amazing? I’m obsessed and you should be too. They are a smidgen heavy, so keep that in mind, but worth it. These babies are the perfect way to add sparkle to whatever you’re wearing. I can’t forget my under $30 chunky heels that run true to size, but if you have a wide foot, these probs aren’t for you. They definitely run slim.

No matter where you’re going or what occasion calls for you to dress up for the holidays, I hope this gave you some holiday outfit inspiration! Happy almost Thanksgiving and don’t forget to be watching my Black Friday sale picks. They’re soooo good.
