The holidays are my favorite time of year for so many reasons. One of them is because I always travel during the holidays. I’m keeping it a little more low-key this year, (catch up on our amazing NYC trip last year) but I don’t care where I’m going, I’m just excited to be with friends and family.
Funny story, every time we traveled when I was younger, I always dressed cute. I remember thinking that the airport was my place to “show my style” and I would worry more about what I was wearing on the plane than the vacation. Don’t worry, I never met anyone worth impressing at the airport. *lol.
I’ve grown a lot since the days of dressing up at the airport. And when I say “grown” I mean, I’ve realized that comfy clothes and easy shoes work a lot better for holiday travel style than dressing up.

Since I’m headed out of town this weekend to Baton Rouge, I wanted to share one of my favorite travel outfits with y’all. This outfit is perfect for all your holiday traveling. I’m also linking some of my favorite luggage, bags, other outfit ideas, and travel necessities.

It’s also super cozy and a perfect thickness without being too heavy and hot. The pockets on it are so perfect when you’re in a rush and need to have money or your phone handy in the airport or on the road.
I’ve talked about my Spanx leggings before right here, but they are pretty much the all-purpose bottoms I wear religiously. They are amazing for travel because they stay in place, so you don’t have to worry about pulling them up constantly. Spanx leggings also keep everything in place, so you don’t have to worry what you look like while you’re knee-deep in luggage.
