Prime Halloween Costume

Prime Halloween Costume

I know I can’t be the only one who totally relies on Amazon Prime to come in clutch, especially when I’m in a pinch. Halloween time is no different because I’m already super busy and will avoid the creepy Halloween stores at any cost. *enter Amazon Prime.* Whether you’ve got a Halloween party coming up this weekend or just don’t want to add another thing to your to-do list, I’ve got you covered with my Prime Halloween costume. I’m even sharing ways you can dress it up or down depending on your style and needs. Basically a one stop shop to become the Amazon Prime mermaid you were meant to be.

I spent some time thinking of what costume I would want to share with y’all. I didn’t want to be too trendy and do something super pop culture, but I also didn’t want it to be too plain. So I settled on the mermaid. I feel like it’s achievable on a budget and you can get creative with it.

The Outfit

Starting with the basics, I found this really fun, iridescent scaled skirt. It runs small so go up a size, but it’s so comfy. I love that it’s not form-fitting so you can eat all the candy you want without sucking it in. I know this might surprise you, but I wasn’t really feeling the mermaid shell bra tops. (that was sarcasm) Instead, I opted for this really cute shell bra t-shirt that runs true to size. The best part is that everything I’m sharing is available for Prime shipping. Perfect for last minute looks on a budget!

I went with simple accessories and tied in my favorite velvet shoes that added even more color to my outfit. Funny story, I bought this lipstick thinking it would be super “out there” and costume-y, but I actually love it for a bold, everyday lip. It’s super cheap too and I thought I would wear it once, but it’s got a permanent spot in my purse now.

In the end, I hope this helped you avoid those scary stores, decide on a costume, or just inspire something fun and easy for you. If you need me, I’ll be under the sea in my Prime Halloween costume!

I just had to add something cheesy y’all.

Here’s how I styled it. Easy, casual, but still so fun and unique.

Here’s some extras to kick the look up a couple notches.

cheers,

caitlin
