dressy styled sweaters

Happy Thursday  y’all. You’re almost there, the weekend is so close. Thank you for bearing with me while my hot mess self tries to get through the day. And for everyone that messaged me just to say you’re praying for us, thank you so much. In the mean time, let’s talk about something really good. Last week, I shared a post on weekend styled sweaters. This week, I’m sharing dressy styled sweaters. I use the term “dressy” loosely. It definitely has a different meaning to me than maybe someone else, but this is about how dressy I get, unless it’s a special occasion. So, I’m just here to keep it real and share with y’all my version of dressy styled sweaters.

pink sweater. leather skirt. similar shoes. earrings.

Oh hayyyyyy, pink sweater.  Basically my Barbie dreams came true when I saw this cozy, cropped sweater. The balloon sleeves are so trendy and it’s comfy as heck. And the color, it’s just so good. When I am wearing a dressy styled sweater, I like to mix up the textures. So I’m all about this leather skirt, velvet booties, and knit sweater. I styled mine for a fun date night or even a girls night out.

This skirt can totally go from day to night. Paired with a simple top and blazer, it’s perfect for work. Even with a lace cami under a blazer and then no blazer for after work drinks. Amazing. This skirt is going to be my go-to through fall and winter. It’s such a chic update on a classic staple piece and I’m such a fan.

frill sweater. denim. similar earrings. booties. (similar booties one and two.)

Heck yes, for this frilly, little thang. I don’t know why, but it seems like such a perfect Thanksgiving outfit. I think it’s the “pilgrim-y” frilly detail. But I am pretty much obsessed. It’s uber soft, lightweight, and the location of the ruffle cinches in your waist. I styled this dressy number for a weekend adventure or Sunday brunch. This whole look is some serious dressy styled sweater goodness.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw my mini rant on these booties. THEY. ARE. SO. GOOD. The quality, the color that is soooo versatile, and the chunky heel. I’ll go into more detail on a future post about everything I look for when I get booties.

My booties will be restocked, don’t worry. I’ll keep tabs on them and let y’all know on Instagram when they’re back. Also, my earrings are on super sale in store. They aren’t online anymore, but I snagged them the other day for under $4. They’re SugarFix by BaubleBar. Sometimes I hate how you can’t always find the same deals on the Target app, like in store, but it makes it that much more addicting. Or is that just me?

cheers,
