Happy Friday y’all. Is it just me or did the 4-day week feel like a 400-day week? On the bright side, the weekend is finally here and I’ve got some fun plans in the works. Thankfully, I’ve retired my old weekend uniform (oversized tee and shorts) and found pieces that are comfy, but still cute to wear on the weekend. Here’s all the details on my fall weekend uniform that you’ll see me wearing all season long.
I’m soooo loving this sweater because it’s light. I’m only going to need a sweater for about 3 weeks in Texas, so being able to wear a lightweight sweater and not sweat my booty off is perfection. The balloon sleeve detail and off the shoulder fit gives it a unique twist, so it’s more than just a regular sweater and makes your fall weekend uniform stand out. I have been on the hunt for a really good pair of white jeans for a while and decided to try these babies out. Especially when they went on major sale. The verdict: you NEED these jeans. Why: PERFECT amount of stretch, high waisted, side-slit hem, and the best fit throughout. There’s a reason they have over 4 stars and almost 200 reviews on Nordstrom. I’m serious, they are that good. And they’re 50% off right now. It’s meant to be.
And if you’re thinking, “Oh Caitlin, I can’t wear those because it’s after Labor Day. Think again”, and just wait because there’s a whole post coming Monday on rocking white after Labor Day.
Accessory time. These were my first pair of Vans, because I wasn’t sure I was cool enough to rock them, but they quickly became my go-to weekend shoe for fall and winter. They are so comfortable, go with everything, and are durable, so I don’t have to worry about getting them dirty or falling apart. I love the perforated look because it adds texture, but your feet are still covered. I just love them and they’re so effortless for every fall weekend uniform. Plus, you kinda look like a badass wearing them (at least I think I do, judge me).
My purse is sold out, but I’m linking a similar one in price and then two other really good ones for a whole lot cheaper.
