How could I not post this sweet, little, firecracker, get up that I shared on Instagram last weekend? Y’all loved this red striped look on the ‘gram and I’m sharing my exact look along with different options for every budget.
The Dress
I snagged this baby while I was in Dallas a couple weeks ago and was on super sale. Right now, it’s under $100, which is a good price, but I’ll definitely be sharing on Instastory when it’s on extra sale.
Whatever price you pay for this red striped beauty, it’s more than worth it. It’s a light-weight fabric, super versatile, and so easy to throw on and look like a total babe. It also has little snaps under the straps to hold your bra in place, which is a serious game changer. It also comes in white, which I loved too and would look so cute with a colorful jacket for fall, but I fell in love with the red.
The Jewelry
When I wore this red striped look in Dallas, I wore it with statement turquoise earrings, but I also styled it for y’all with a chunky necklace. Either way you wear it, red and turquoise is one of the prettiest color combinations and looks amazing on every skin tone.
Funny story, I was known for this chunky, turquoise necklace in college. I wore it more times than I care to admit and it became my “signature“. One time, I wore it out and it broke, so one of my best friends pulled hair from my head to use to tie it together. I’ve since bought a new one from Francesca’s, but I don’t think they have it online anymore. *I plead the 5th on whether alcohol was involved or not.
The Shoes
I’ve talked about the shoes I’m wearing way too much, but I seriously love them with this red striped look. Again, this dress is so versatile that you could wear it with a simple flat and cardigan, booties in the fall, or a sandal this weekend.
