I feel like we all know by now, lavender has been the IT color this year. I’ve always had a handful of purple in my closet (thanks to SFA and LSU), but when I found this perfect top, I fell right back in love with lavender. And don’t worry, you can shop my whole outfit at the bottom of the post.
Y’all know everywhere I go, I go to Anthropologie. It’s kinda sad because I pride myself on being a boutique shopper, but Anthro is literally too good to pass up. So, of course, we went to the Anthropologie downtown while we were in Austin. Jackson isn’t even phased by our Anthro trips and can probably tell you where all the sitting areas are in most of their stores by now! He’s a natural. 🙂
Anyways. Just to get down to it, this top isn’t currently on sale. I know, I’m just as shocked that I bought something full-price, too. However, I will totally be sharing on Instagram when it’s on sale, so be on the lookout. In the mean time, there’s a bunch of good stuff on sale at Anthro right now. So, basically this top is so perfect. It comes in several colors, but the lavender was just dreamy. It’s super lightweight, which makes it easy to wear year round, and it’s something you could wear to work or on the weekend.
I styled it for the weekend because casual, duh. But it’s also perfect to layer over a tank dress or pencil skirt for work. The roll-up sleeves and covered buttons are the cherry on top.
And can we talk about the tie-front! Helloooooo, I love it. I was a little nervous to try it on because I haven’t worn anything tie-front lately, I know I need to get with the times. But it’s so flattering and since you tie it yourself, you can tie it however you like. Good stuff.
I’m wearing it with all my new obsessions. From the dreamiest denim, to one of my anniversary gifts (that I will be sharing more about soon), and my studded babes. This outfit made me feel the love with lavender.
What’s better than a top you can wear with anything, a flattering color, fun earrings, and tan legs? Nothing. That’s why you need this.
