spring trend: gingham

What’s your favorite pattern to wear? How can you choose? There’s everything from leopard to plaid, but one of my favorite spring trends is taking over in the pattern department. Move over picnic tables, the gingham trend is here to stay and not under your summer barbecue. Even though it’s pretty good there too.

Gingham is such a fun print, but I know not everyone feels confident stepping out in a bold print. That’s totally okay. There are so many ways to incorporate this spring trend into your outfit. From big bold pieces to small accessories, you can go gingham however you fancy. And of course, I fancy it bold.

I’m loving this super fun take on the gingham trend with this dress. It’s so bright and colorful with a shape that is flattering for anyone. It’s just the definition of summertime to me. Not to mention, it’s under $50 and I feel like it’s so hard to find quality without breaking the bank lately.

Also, there has never been any shame in my ice cream game. It really just completes my outfit.

Aren’t the details of this dress so adorable? I love the colors and especially love the tie-front detail. I chose to wear a tank underneath, but you can totally go without. I’m wearing my fav earrings with this dress, but literally you could put it with any accessories. Simple studs or a bold earring like mine will look equally as good. And of course, I know it’s getting old, but I can’t get enough of these dang wedges. They’re. That. Good.

So, as far as bringing the gingham trend into your wardrobe, if you haven’t already, it just depends on how big you want to go. These are some of my favorite spring pieces for the gingham trend. Everything from big and bold to subtle and sweet.
