spring weekend look

Yes, it’s Friday. Yes, I never post on Friday. Yes, I couldn’t wait to share this spring weekend look with you. Can you blame me? This is the perfect easy weekend outfit when the usual t-shirt and workout shorts just won’t cut it. And as always, it won’t break the bank.

First off, let’s talk about these shorts. They are the comfiest shorts I have ever owned and are my go-to for every weekend look. Seriously. I have them in a light blue and I have worn the heck out of them. They go with everything and they are a lot more breezy then some tight jean shorts. In Texas, I need all the breeze I can get in the spring and summer.

P.S. I’m not editing any of my pictures anymore except for the lighting. So no retouching here. So just be prepared for non-airbrushed legs and natural rolls all summer. Transparency. Remember?

I tried on this top that I had been eyeing while I was in Dallas and it clearly made it home with me.  It is so flattering because of the wrap detail and I love that it’s low cut, but not too revealing. The color is a great unconventional neutral, it’s under $50, and I’ll be adding more colors to my closet soon. It’s that good. Also, it’s a perfect top for work if you add a tank underneath.

I linked my earrings on yesterday’s work wear post. I kept my promise and gave y’all a closer look at these earrings, proud. They are so adorable and can clearly be dressed up or down. Easy peasy.

And just to keep this whole look basic, I’m wearing my new seriously favorite wedges in life. They are just so perfect for this weekend look and really with anything. Also, I feel super put together when I wear them, so that also helps. You can shop them on this post or here.

Let me know what y’all think about 3 blog posts a week instead of 2! I’m thinking I like it, but I want to know your thoughts. Have the best Easter weekend y’all.

cheers,

caitlin
