girl power and spring style

Hey y’all! Happy Thursday! I’m so excited to be sharing this spring look with y’all because I feel like I’ve been slacking on the style lately. But I’m feeling refreshed. Also, I was thinking about it and two pieces in this outfit come from women-run company’s. How much more perfect could it get on International Women’s Day?! I mean like girl power x1000000. So, I’m sharing all the details on this look with y’all, which by the way made me feel like a total babe, and a couple of ways to really embrace the meaning of today and be the best gal you can be.

This dress from Buddy Love, is the PERFECT spring dress. I am in love with it. The print is so fun, it’s flowy,  and it has an adorable lace up detail. It’s a perfect piece to wear with a jacket and flat sandals or you could dress it up a little more, like I did. I’m wearing a large for reference.

If you’ve been following Keeping It Caitlin for a while, you know I love to shop small. You can read all about it here. Buddy Love is a girl boss company out of Dallas, they’re basically like Show Me Your Mumu, but at a better price point. You can shop them directly here, or find them at local boutiques.

Also, y’all know I love my Kendra Scott. I was a KS gal for a while and that place just has a special spot in my heart. If you aren’t familiar with Kendra Scott, she’s a real woman who started making and selling jewelry out of her house. Now, she’s turned it into a billion dollar company. That’s some serious girl power right there.

Anyways, these earrings are so amazing. They’re a fresh twist on their signature pearl stone and I couldn’t love them more. They’re on trend, so fun, and pink. It doesn’t get much better.

I’m linking a similar bag and my shoes here too.

P.S. I think I like these wedges better than the Marc Fisher ones.

And just because it’s International Women’s Day and we definitely could build each other up more, remember community over competition. In every aspect, this is so important. Take pride in the moves women have been making and participate in making women even better. Lift a sister up, thank a woman for inspiring you, and be the best gal you can be. That’s the best girl power there is.

cheers,

caitlin
