Every holiday season I love being able to get dressed up, but it usually just consisted of casual outfits to wear at family events. But this year I am officially adulting because it’s J’s first Christmas party with his company. I’ve put an unnatural amount of pressure on myself to look like a straight 10 and the girls in J’s office have already asked what I’m wearing. *cue small panic*. So I went on a little hunt for all the best get ups for this holidays party’s that get you feeling like Carrie Bradshaw without spending like her.
I wanted to share my take on a classic holiday look that’s all under $100. I styled it two different ways just because I’m more of a ‘keep it covered’ kinda gal, but sometimes I’ll feel sassy and wear it without something under. Wow, I just realized how boring I sound. But it’s so true. As I’ve gotten older I’ve become more aware that less can be more and I feel more confident with a more covered look. But, you can wear this look any way you feel most confident. So rock it.
